I nearly quit after 1 maths lecture - Ghanaian student shares touching story as he graduates from varsity

Kwesi Tumtum, an alumnus of the Central University's Business School, has recounted how he nearly quit his ambition of becoming a graduate due to challenges.

According to Kwesi Tumtum who is now a graduate, he returned to Ghana in 2017 to pursue a degree at the prestigious Ghanaian university.

He, however, did not anticipate that the four-year programme would be demanding and require dedication, commitment amid challenges to complete.

In a Twitter post by the young graduate, he disclosed that he nearly abandoned his programme a year after enrolling at the Central University Business School.

''In 2017, I returned to Ghana and enrolled at Central University’s Business School. After one business maths lecture, I called my mum and told her I quit,'' he said.

Kwesi Tumtum' mother, however, became his inspiration in his moment of despair and attempt to quit in the face of challenges during his academic journey to earn a postgraduate degree.

''You know mothers, she motivated me. The stress from Level 100 through 400 but look at me now. A graduate! Wow,'' he said.

Kwesi Tumtum shared the inspirational post along with photos from his graduation as he proudly posed for the lens in his regalia.

The post has garnered tons of reactions and comments from his followers.
