The conviction of actress Akuapem Poloo, known in private life as Rosemond Brown, on Friday, April 16, 2021, there has been a spotlight on her family.
Known to be a single mother catering for her seven-year-old son, Mohammed Mudasir Yakubu a.k.a. Chief, many have been wondering who the father of the boy is.
The father of Akuapem Poloo's son, Rashid Yakubu, has popped up for the first time on social media.
Rashid Yakubu has popped up as he appeared for an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM on Friday, April 23, 2021.
Photos of Yakubu show him to be a clean-shaved man (bald) with a beard. Dressed in a white v-neck t-shirt, he looked simple but good-looking.
During the interview, Rashid who is a music artiste with a number of rap songs narrated how he met Poloo.
Among other things, he said they first met at Epos, a popular pub at Osu in Accra, in 2010 and dated for about three years before she gave birth to their son in 2013.
The appearance of Akuapem Poloo's baby daddy comes after the actress was released from the Nsawam Prison three days after being granted bail.
Poloo was granted bail in the sum of GHC80, 000 by a High Court in Accra but she had been in custody after failing to fulfill the bail requirements.
The actress met the bail conditions and signed the bond on Friday morning.
Meanwhile, a video showing actress Akuapem Poloo leaving the court after signing her GHC80,000 bail bond has popped up.
In the video, the actress was seen walking briskly toward a white pick-up car in the parking lot of the court.
Reports accompanying the video indicated that the actress had just signed her bail bond in court which sealed her lawyer's request to have her released.
Akuapem Poloo was in the company of some people while being guarded by a prison officer from the Nsawam Prison where she was being kept.
