Free Ramadan Jollof Rice: Lady Raises Money, Cooks Plates of Food, Gives Them to 268 People

- A lady, Aderonke Rene Ahmed, has been helping people get through this Ramadan period well

- Rene raised fund and put it to good work of cooking deliciously looking meal that she served to people for free

- On the 12th day of her charity work, she was able to feed 268 people, a move that got her much commendation on social media

A Nigerian lady, Aderonke Rene Ahmed, has in the past few days been touching lives during this present Ramadan season.

For the 12 days, the lady kept posting photos of food she prepared and donated to people while calling for more volunteers to give towards the cause.

On day 12, Rene was able to serve 268 people jollof rice with two big pieces of meat and chilled bottled water.

She prayed that everyone who donated towards the programme will not lack, appreciating those who made sure people do not go hungry during the fasting season.

Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that Cardinal John Onaiyekan who was also the former archbishop of Abuja on Thursday, April 22, showed great love towards Muslims at the Al-Habibiyah Mosque in Guzape.

Before his arrival, the faithful had gathered to break their evening fast. The priest handed plates of food to almost 2,000 worshippers while preaching peace.
