Prophet Kofi Oduro said it would be unheard of for one's mother to be hungry at home while the same person puts money in an envelope to come and give to a man of God.

According to Prophet Oduro, such monies would not attract any blessings from God since they were given to please and not as a sacrifice.

In effect, he was trying to put across the point that taking care of family and being generally responsible had to be above giving a pastor money on one's priority list.

"Don't bring me a seed when your mother is hungry, never do that", the man of God was heard saying while addressing the congregants.
