#FixTheCountry protestors held their protest on social media on May 9, 2021, as scheduled, after they were prevented from embarking on street protests on the said date.

Thousands of Ghanaians went out individually with their placards to take compelling photos that register their displeasure with how the leaders are running the country's affairs and the need to fix the problems.

Meanwhile, famous Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, has finally broken his silence concerning the trending FixTheCountry movement of Ghanaians calling on the government to attend to the numerous issues being faced by citizens.

According to the influential artiste, the citizens will automatically fix their attitudes if the government fixes the country for them.

He further explained that it is difficult for individuals to try fixing themselves in an environment that is not structured to favour people whose attitudes are fixed.

In other news, Francis-Xavier Sosu, the Member of Parliament for Madina Constituency has warmed many hearts online after sharing a humbling footage of himself with his mother on Mothers' Day.

In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh on his personal handle, the lawyer was seen running errands for his mother as though he was a little boy tasked to cook with her.

Explaining why he found no trouble performing the gesture, the MP said power is not going to change who he is and cooking with his mother is one of the activities he loves very much.
