Bishop Dag, as he is affectionately called, was born on May 14, 1963, and has just turned 58 today, May 14, 2021, after leading the church he founded for decades.
This triggered the hashtag #IAmGratefulForBishopDag with many of the church members sharing their testimonies about their founder and leader.
Some of the reactions can be seen below:
@laurel__crowned stated how much the entire church loves the prophet:
@Maame_Pokua mentioned that the bishop is such a great treasure and her gratitude can never come to an end
According to another Twitter user with the handle @TaluSmiley, Bishop Dag helped her to see that there will never be a better job for her than working for Jesus:
@FirstLoveCenter also shared a long testimony of how a gentleman named George Antwi worked with Bishop Dag Heward Mills and had his life changed for the better:
@ahsia_harok said she still can't believe how blessed she was to have Bishop Dag counsel, pray and prophecy about her marriage
Happy birthday, prophet. Thank you for sending pastors and shepherds to lead us to Christ when we were yet lost.
Meanwhile, members of the Lighthouse Chapel earlier came out to defend Dag Heward-Mills amidst a controversy he currently finds himself in.
Last week, YEN.com.gh reported that six former pastors of the church now known as United Denominations, originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches accused its leadership of violating their rights.
Since then, Heward-Mills has been called out, with many alleging that he is not what he portrays to be in the public eye. Some are however vehemently defending him saying that there is a ploy to bring him down.
