Bishop Dag, as he is affectionately called, was born on May 14, 1963, and has just turned 58 today, May 14, 2021, after leading the church he founded for decades.

This triggered the hashtag #IAmGratefulForBishopDag with many of the church members sharing their testimonies about their founder and leader.

Meanwhile, members of the Lighthouse Chapel earlier came out to defend Dag Heward-Mills amidst a controversy he currently finds himself in.

Last week, YEN.com.gh reported that six former pastors of the church now known as United Denominations, originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches accused its leadership of violating their rights.

Since then, Heward-Mills has been called out, with many alleging that he is not what he portrays to be in the public eye. Some are however vehemently defending him saying that there is a ploy to bring him down.
