Nabila, one of the contestants of the popular dating reality TV show, Date Rush, has managed to sustain her popularity on the show with a new photo.

In a photo sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Instagram page of dailycelebritiesnewsdotorg, the ball sandals Nabila wore to the show was highlighted.

Many people who saw the photo debated about the price of the shoe and argued if it was fit for an 'American girl'.

Some social media users were of the view that the sandals resembled the ones worn by female students in Ghana's senior high schools.

One Facebook user, Naa Adjeley Shuga, wrote: "They said there’s an American girl on date rush wearing “EAST WEST” but I’m not watching some so it’s not my business."

The post which came with the said photo generated a lot of buzz as many of her friends on the social media platform commented on it.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the last episode of the dating reality show Date Rush has sparked a huge debate on social media after a Ghanaian born in America came on the show in search of a date.

Almost all the male contestants on the show were left stunned when Nabila walked onto the stage and said she was born in America.

Listening to her speak, the guys affirmed that she was their taste and were ready to battle it out to win her love or friendship.

After all the videos of Nabila were played, eight of the male contestants had their Rushes on and Nabila had to downsize the number.
