Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) worker, Charlotte Alhassan, popularly known as Queen Shy has dropped details in relation to Captain Smart's suspension.
Queen Shy has revealed that Captain Smart called on former president John Agyekum Kufour and some Chiefs from Kumasi to beg on his behalf after he was suspended.
According to her, when Captain Smart was suspended by Angel TV, he realised that he was not going to enjoy some of the free goodies again and needed to do something fast.
She narrated that after receiving his suspension letter, he quickly ran to the house of the former President, and the chiefs where he explained the situation to them.
All Captain Smart wanted from them was to step in and speak with Dr. Kwaku Oteng so they could revoke his suspension.
Queen Shy in the video went on to say that Captain was shocked over his suspension because he thought he was the most loved person by Kwaku Oteng and the management.
Meanwhile, Angel FM presenter, prophet Adu Boahen, has detailed how Captain Smart's stay at the radio station came to an end.
Captain Smart was handed a month suspension by the owner of Angel FM, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, over his excessive attacks on the government.
He was however expected to end his suspension but news broke that the award-winning presenter has left the station.
But now, a presenter at Angel FM has revealed how Captain Smart left the Accra-based media firm. According to the presenter, Captain Smart did not resign as it was reported.
In a video addressing some issues that arose after Captain Smart’s departure, he alleged that before the presenter came out on his television station to tell Ghanaians he was resigning, he had actually been served a letter telling him his services were no longer needed.
