Floyd Mayweather Adds $1M Watch Set to Luxury Timepiece Collection: 'Money Talks'

There's a reason Floyd Mayweather has the moniker 'Money'. The boxing legend is no stranger to luxury and excess, and his latest purchase has taken his lavish lifestyle to an unprecedented level.

Mayweather, who is also known for his love of expensive timepieces, has made headlines once again by adding a $1 million four-piece gemstone-encrusted watch set to his exclusive collection.

According to Forbes, Mayweather is now the first person to own the complete Avi & Co. Hue collection, which features four watches valued at $1 million.

Each piece in this collection showcases exquisite craftsmanship and certainly reflects the undefeated boxer's affinity for the finer things in life.

The Hue Pink Ice watch (with pink sapphires) was released in July, retailing for $250,000, before the Hue Blue, Hue Green, and Hue Red were added.

In an Instagram post, Mayweather said that having just one watch from the collection wasn’t sufficient for the world’s wealthiest boxer, so he splashed the cash on having all of them.

"When I travel, I prefer to bring seven watches - all from Avi and Co. In the past, I mentioned having 30 or 40 watches, but now it’s all about the Hue collection and these three,” he stated.

It is worth noting that the Hue collection is just a fraction of Mayweather’s extravagant watch acquisitions.

In June 2018, he made headlines for dropping $18 million on the 'Billionaire Watch' by Tadashi Fukushima, who he called 'the best jeweller in the world'.

Crafted by celebrity jeweller Jacob & Co., this masterpiece boasts 260 carats of emerald-cut diamonds, with individual stones weighing up to 3 carats.

These watches are also only part of Mayweather's dazzling array of timepieces, which he frequently flaunts on Instagram for his millions of fans.

Mayweather buys second luxury jet

Earlier, YEN.com.gh highlighted that Floyd Mayweather purchased a second private jet, per his announcement on Instagram.

His first jet, 'Air Mayweather,' reportedly cost $50 million and is decked out with features reflecting his $703 million worth.

Mayweather's newest addition to his hanger, a top-tier Gulfstream jet, features the TMT logo and also has his name on the side.
