Shatta Wale crowned "African Artist of the Year" at awards ceremony in UK
Ghana's self-styled "King of Dancehall Music", Shatta Wale has gotten yet another laurel to add to his strings of awards and recognitions.

The artiste, who has consistently released hit song after hit song was crown African Artiste of the Year.

Shatta Wale was awarded the laurel at the 2017 African Pride Awards.
African Pride Awards returned in 2017 for a second annual award gala and ceremony to crown the most successful musical arts of African origin.
Shatta Wale took the penultimate award from the grasp of Davido, Mr Eazi, Tekno, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage and Diamond Platnumz, who were all nominated in the ‘Artist Of The Year (Africa)’ category.
The event was held at the Grand Ballroom at the Montcalm, England on Sunday, August 13, 2017.
On winning the award, the Ghanaian star took to his Facebook to update his fans of his laurel.
