Celebrated actor Jim Iyke has again recounted his experience with the late leader of the Synagogue Church, Pastor TB Joshua, in 2013, among other men of God.
Back in 2013, Jim made headlines over a clip of him losing his senses at the church.
In his interview with Gbadewonuola Olateju Oyelakin, also known as Teju Babyface, he revealed he was at the church because of his mother, adding that he was desperate for her healing then.
The actor shared how he was advised to take his sick mum to the church for healing, which he agreed to as he was willing to do anything for her.

"I will never be desperate again in my life, desperation took me there, thinking a man of God will heal her," Jim said.
He also recounted his experience with other men of God and the money they took from him.

Why men of God shouldn't be blamed for failed miracles
Pastor Austeen, in his explanation, said:
"Sometimes the miracle didn’t happen because God, who sees the deepest part of the heart, knows they didn’t believe. God may overlook a man’s unbelief and then perform a miracle, but in most cases, as stated in the scripture, a man’s true faith is instrumental to his miracle. So the fault is not from the man of God but the person."
BBC drops explosive interview on TB Joshua
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that a BBC report showed evidence of widespread abuse and torture by the Synagogue Church of All Nations founder, TB Joshua.
In the report, Synagogue Church of All Nations members made allegations of sexual assault and forced abortions against TB Joshua, who died in 2021.
The allegations span almost 20 years, according to the report.
The Synagogue Church of All Nations did not respond to the allegations in the BBC report but said the claims were unfounded.
