Counselor Lutterodt Tells Odo Broni: "You Can't Be a Widow, Be a Baby Mama"

Ghanaian media personality Counselor Lutterodt has reiterated his stance on Daddy Lumba's wife, Odo Broni, performing widowhood rites.

According to Counselor Lutterodt, she was not legally married to Daddy Lumba and must therefore must not consider herself a widow to the late singer, who died on July 26, 2025.

Speaking on Radio XYZ, Counselor Lutterodt stated that he had gathered enough information to buttress his claim that Odo Broni was not the late Daddy Lumba's legal wife.

"Per the information I have, if there's anything Odo Broni will learn, she should dissolve all she's doing and sit down for us to appreciate her as a baby mama. She can't be a widow. If she makes herself a widow, she will suffer," Counselor Lutterodt said.

The controversial media personality noted that it was traditionally wrong for Daddy Lumba's second wife to perform the widowhood rites.

She blamed Odo Broni's relatives for not cautioning her against the implications of performing widowhood rites as someone who's not a wife.

Daddy Lumba died on July 26, 2025. The legendary highlife singer died at the age of 60 while receiving treatment at the Bank Hospital in Accra.

The late highlife singer was survived by two wives and 11 children, but some details of his personal life and family ties remain unknown.

Daddy Lumba’s first wife, Akosua Serwaa, who is based in Germany, welcomed four children with him, while he had five children with his second wife, Priscilla Ofori-Atta, popularly known as Odo Broni.

Counselor Lutterodt speaks on Seyram's arrest

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Counsellor Lutterodt shared his thoughts on Deborah Seyram Adablah's 45-day jail sentencing.

The counsellor disagreed with the judges' decision, stating that the jail term was not harsh enough for the controversial socialite.

Counsellor Lutterodt criticised Deborah Seyram Adablah for insulting the judges and called for her to spend three months in jail.
