Cardi B sells new album on streets

The rapper, who identifies as Afro-Latina, was spotted in the streets in the US selling and promoting her newly released album, Am I the Drama?

The CDs, vinyls and the court edition of the album were sectioned and displayed orderly on a black mat.

She brought out the Jamaican vibes as Bob Marley and the Wailers' One Love played in the background. She also wore a red, black, yellow and green crocheted headpiece, with the colours and style connecting to the African roots.

The Bodak Yellow crooner dressed casually in a black hoodie and matching sweatpants. The hoodie was customised bearing the cover art of her latest album: Am I the Drama?

In the caption of the social media post, Cardi B mentioned that the reason she decided to take this unconventional approach despite being a major global musician was that her record label, Atlantic Records, advised her to.

"My label said I gotta get out in these streets and sell this album 😩 LINK IN BIO."
