Agooji eats banku during World Cup qualifier

Agooji caught the attention of many bloggers and football lovers at the Accra Sports Stadium when he was spotted parading around the premises with a large earthenware bowl.

The plate contained three large balls of banku, which prompted one journalist to stop the actor and inquire whether he was planning to devour all that alone. The thespian, seemingly in a jovial mood, replied that he would be joined by some of his friends.

He then placed the breakable black earthenware bowl on the ground and dipped into his bag seeking to retrieve a black rubber containing pepper, ginger, tomatoes and a wooden masher, which he intended to use to grind his ingredients together.

When asked what protein he was going to enjoy the banku with, he mentioned that he had enough in his system. He later clarified that his friends would be coming to the stadium with sardines.

While the match was ongoing, Agooji was captured busily grinding the pepper before proceeding to enjoy his banku.

In another video, Ghanaian blogger Officialmeatpie18 followed up on the Kumawood actor after the Black Stars claimed a 1:0 victory against the Les Aigles after Alex Djiku scored the only goal in the game from a corner.

At that moment, Agooji had finished eating two balls of banku and was devouring the third one while enjoying the match like the rest of Ghanaians at the stadium.
