According to the Aben wo hitmaker's personal DJ, the late singer used to have a ritual on his birthday.

"Anytime I think back to his annual birthday celebration concerts, I become sad. On his birthday, he would call me to ensure everything was okay ahead of the concert," DJ Afiba said.
"He would arrive with Odo Broni holding his hand tightly, and I would lead him to the stage. After his performance, he would hail me as DJ Afiba, the international DJ," he added.

Another staff member of Daddy Lumba's radio station established that the late singer was a good and kind boss.
