Jurors on Friday began deliberating whether Elon Musk committed fraud and should pay dearly for 2018 tweets falsely claiming that he had funding in place to take Tesla private. Musk testified during the trial that his 2018 tweet about taking Tesla private at $420 a share was no joke and that Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund was serious about helping him do it.

The head of Ukraine's anti-corruption agency insisted Friday that the Russian invasion had triggered a substantial and "irreversible" fall in graft in what has long been one of Europe's most corrupt countries. Nevertheless, he was adamant that the country was now making an "irreversible" move away from corrupt practices of the past.
