Popular content creator Elvis Frimpong, popularly known as Osanju, reportedly died on the morning of Monday, September 1, 2025.

Rumours of his demise emerged on social media and spread panic, before many of his close friends and colleagues, including TikToker Oheneba Jude, confirmed the tragedy.

According to reports, the content creator, who had amassed over 1.1 million followers on TikTok, was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital for treatment after complaining about some headaches on Sunday night, August 31, 2025.

He was subsequently transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital but died not long after arrival.

The content creator passed away five months after his mother, Veronica Frimpong, popularly known as Amonu, was laid to rest at a funeral service attended by many prominent personalities.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh on the TikTok page of gossips24tv on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, Osanju’s father opened up about his son’s death for the first time.

He wept bitterly as he attempted to process the loss of his wife and last-born son in the span of a few months.

Osanju’s father said that if his son was called by his mother to join her in the afterlife, then he was ready to accept the tragedy.

However, he added that if anyone worked against him spiritually due to his success then he hoped his spirit would retaliate against them.

Osanju’s father’s heartbroken video stirred sadness on social media as many attempted to console him over his double loss.

Osanju's brother speaks about his death

Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that Osanju's brother spoke about his death in a video that went viral on social media.

In an interview with Nana Baffour, he said that his late brother had held a TikTok Live after Barcelona's game on Sunday.

The younger brother said that Osanju was later found lying on the floor at around 2 am and was rushed to the hospital.
