Osanju explained that, according to his beliefs, there was no afterlife and that life ended after death.
"When someone dies, I, Osanju, believe that the person ceases to exist. He lives nowhere. So, when the Akans and some churches believe that there is a soul which returns to the ancestors, or to heaven if the person was righteous, or to hell to be punished if he was a sinner, if you hold that perception, you will be sad. I don’t have that mindset.
In my view, when someone dies, nothing of them goes anywhere. The person is no longer living. The opposite of life is death", he told the interviewer.
