In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, David Kwadwo appeared in a short interview where he appeared calm and confident with the statement he made about his future.
The video showed him moments after being sentenced to seven months in prison. YEN.com.gh understands that the Ghana Police Service announced his arrest on accusations of inciting violence against public officials.
During the short interview, David was handcuffed, but he appeared calm and defiant. When asked if he had an apology or a message to Ghanaians, he said he believes his arrest and sentence are a step for him to become president.
The man believes he will 'go and come back' to reinforce his bid for the presidency.
He claimed that being in prison is a temporary setback on his path to the highest office in the land. Immediately after the interview was over, he was taken back into the prison truck and back to jail.
