An old social media post by Ghanaian media personality Afua Asantewaa has resurfaced online, drawing renewed public attention amid ongoing discussions about her personal life.

Afua Asantewaa, widely known for her Guinness World Record singathon attempt, had shared the message on July 29, 2019, just days before celebrating her third wedding anniversary with her husband, Kofi Owusu Aduonum.
The post, which has recently been recirculated by Gossips24TV on X, captured her deep admiration and affection for him at the time.
In the message, she spoke warmly about her husband’s character, describing him as supportive, respectful, and deeply committed to their relationship. She noted that he remained consistent in his actions, highlighting gestures such as opening doors for her, praying with her, encouraging her, and even apologising when she was at fault.
Afua Asantewaa also expressed a heartfelt desire to be with him beyond their current life, writing that she would choose the same partner again if given the opportunity. The post read in part:
“My wish, I want same man Kofi Owusu Aduonum in my next life if possible. It feels like we are still dating. He has never changed… It is a blessing.”

This comes after the media personality, in a video, disclosed that she was currently separated from her husband.
It all happened after she joined a TikTok live session with Prophet Fire Oja, where Afua Asantewaa announced that she and her husband were separated after her relocation to Canada and not divorced.
The former GWR participant also stated that she was healing from an unspecified setback she was facing in her marriage.
Kofi Aduonum speaks on marriage
A resurfaced video from when Kofi Owusu Aduonum was interviewed by Dek 360 showed no signs of issues in his marriage to Afua Asantewaa and captured his stance on their relationship.
In that video, the interviewer asked Kofi Aduonum if he had any fears about his marriage ending in divorce, especially after his wife gained fame and began associating with high-profile personalities.
Kofi Aduonum, who showed no signs of worry, responded in the negative.

He then indicated that before the singathon, Afua Asantewaa had already met top personalities.
He added that he had no fears about his wife's sudden rise to fame, stressing that he was not bothered about their marriage.
"She was meeting bigger people before, but people did not know her. People feel it was after the singathon that she became known, no way. I can mention names, but that is not necessary. If a woman is bad, she is bad, so I have no fear."

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Afua Asantewaa's friend accused the media personality's husband of causing their marital issues, which sparked mixed reactions online.
Princess Awuni, in a Facebook post, said the issues began after the couple travelled to Canada for a vacation, which was fully funded by Afua Asantewaa.
She added that Kofi Owusu Aduonum allegedly said he did not want to return to Ghana after the vacation despite pleas from Afua Asantewaa.
