Woman Marries Adopted Son 31 Years Younger Than Her: "Our Relationship is Perfect"
- A Russian woman has gotten into trouble with the welfare community after she fell in love with a young man she adopted eight years ago
- Aisylu Chizhevskaya Mingalim picked Daniel Chizhevsky from an orphanage when he was just 14 and has been raising him since
- The two fell in love and had a magnificent but controversial wedding at a restaurant in Kazan, Tatarstan Republic
Members of the welfare community have expressed disappointment at a 53-year-old mother from Russia who married her 22-year-old adopted son.
The Straits Times reports that the musician named Aisylu Chizhevskaya Mingalim raised Daniel Chizhevsky since he was 14.
8-year difference between couple
Eight years later, the two have fallen in love and recently walked down the aisle despite the 31-year age difference between them.
Ms Mingalim, who has a biological son from a previous marriage, met Chizhevsky at an orphanage where she had been invited to give vocal lessons.
The newlywedded woman told the media that she developed romantic feelings for her adopted son after taking him home from the orphanage.
“Our relationship is perfect. We can’t live without each other. We are on the same wavelength,” she maintained.
Mingalam annoyed at welfare community
After their controversial wedding held at a restaurant in Kazan, Tatarstan Republic, welfare workers took away her other adopted children - four girls and one boy.
Daily Mail adds that the children seized from Ms Mingalim have since been placed into care homes or given back to their biological relatives.
Annoyed by the development, the smitten woman disclosed that she plans to take her children back and escape to Moscow where they will “live freely”.
The former singing teacher fell in love with the concept of adoption after dealing with orphans during a film project with a Tatarstan TV station.
JJ's adoption journey
In other news, Jane Ndirangu aka JJ, lost her marriage when medics diagnosed that she had a small uterus and, therefore, could not conceive.
After months of heartbreak and feeling lost, she started attending seminars on adoption and was convinced to choose the path that many fear.
JJ says her biggest fear was that the baby would reject her, but two years later, it is a decision she considers her best ever.
