A young boy has made his mum emotional following his thoughtful and selfless act of kindness.
Caroline Gikunda, the young boy's proud mum, took to social media to express her motherly delight in her son.

She noted her son was resuming school and had escorted him to Malindi International Airport to catch a flight.

"I escorted this gentleman to the airport, and while saying bye, he squeezed a KSh 1,000 (GH₵108) note in my palm and said...
'From the gifts I received at my pre-birthday party. Happy Mothers' Day belated to the world's best mama'...," part of the heartwarming post read.
Gikunda admitted she was overwhelmed by emotions as she shed a tear following her son's gesture.
Her son was in his full school uniform and had a travelling bag as he looked ready to return to school.

"If you meet me smiling at the storm today, just know that son turned best friend made my day.
Go ye and learn," he said.
In a brief interview with TUKO.co.ke, the joyful mother hoped the post would encourage women, especially single mums.
"I truly hope this inspires someone, especially mothers who are raising kids alone," she noted.

In a heartwarming video trending on TikTok, the man was seen taking the salute from his military friends.
Other students watched as the soldiers performed on campus to honour their friend who was graduating.
