"Something Bigger": Man Makes Millions In Qatar, Builds Mother Lovely House Back Home

A Kenyan man who moved to Qatar a little less than a year ago has built his mother in Busia a beautiful home to appreciate her for being a dedicated and loving mum.

Sammy Lumash from Busia narrated how he made significant financial progress since moving to Qatar last March in search of greener pastures.

The man detailed to TUKO.co.ke, a widely read Kenyan media, that he had three major goals when he moved to the Gulf c: toer: tom a house, become financially stable, also explore opportunities.

When he arrived, he started as a security guard but quickly realised that earnings from the job were not enough to make him achieve the dreams that motivated him to move to Qatar.

"I moved to Qatar in March of 2023. I decided that I wanted something bigger in my life than just being a security guard and that is when I started getting new ideas. I started selling shoes to my colleagues, I got into the accommodation business to earn an extra coin and month, by month, my earnings increased," he said.

As soon as the money started trickling in, the man decided to build his mother his dream and motivation.

"I wanted to build a one-bedroomed house for her but I later decided to do a three-bedroom instead. I also built a decent tolet for for her," Sammy said.

He accomplished this within six months of moving to Qatar.

What challenges did Sammy face in Qatar?

Sammy revealed that he made his first million within months of starting his other side hustles in Qatar and was excited to see his dreams come true.

Nonetheless, he narrated that his stay in the Middle Eastern country has not been without challenges, as he was fired from his security guard job.

"My contract was terminated in December but God opened new doors for me as I started my career as a barista here in Qatar. I had studied about being a barista during my free time. I also did a course on care giving," he said.

He is now happily working as a barista in the country while also pursuing his other ventures.

Hardworking Ghanaian lady builds her first house
