A woman has claimed an NBA star left her and got another woman pregnant after getting to the league.

Reports in Canada claim the player in question is former NBA Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes, who currently plays for the Toronto Raptors.

The woman shared a video on TikTok claiming she dated the NBA star for six years before he got to the league but later left her for another woman.

According to Daily Hive, screenshots from Instagram from a user named Alyssa Rae Holmes, suggested that the woman, who is 11 years older, was having a baby with the NBA star.

One post shows a pregnancy photoshoot with Barnes leaving a telling comment, “Life with you,” followed by a heart emoji.

Moreover, Barnes recently posted an Instagram story of a woman and a dog, and many have claimed that she is Holmes.

Barnes' ex speaks out on TikTok

Meanwhile, Barnes' former high school sweetheart Nari took to TikTok to weigh in on the new couple.

“Let’s play a little game. Put a finger down if you were dating your high school sweetheart for almost six years; you’re holding it down for him while he’s trying to make it to the NBA. He makes it to the NBA, so you move to another country to be there with him to support him, all while studying for your Master’s,” she posted in a TikTok video.

Barnes is in his third NBA season with the Toronto Raptors. He averaged 15 points in his first two seasons and then improved it to 19.9 in the 2023/24 campaign.

The 23-year-old was the 2022 Rookie of the Year and signed a max rookie extension that could be worth as much as $270 million (Ksh35 billion), per ESPN.
