Chelsea describes the jersey on social media as a nod to the club's storied legacy:

"The orange accent symbolises a fresh fire emerging within our ranks. The melting pot pattern, resembling liquid gold and silver, represents the blend of our rich history with the vibrant youth culture of our city."

However, amid the mixed reactions to the highly creative jersey, standout forward Cole Palmer has shared his thoughts on the kit.

In a quick-fire interview shared by Chelsea on social media, the 22-year-old gave a rundown of the new kit, stressing that the overall concept is very nice, with the touch of orange and the stripes being particularly appealing.

However, while Palmer appears pleased with the new jersey design, a few Chelsea fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the kit.
