The La Liga club's starting XI featured a flurry of fringe players alongside others from the Castilla academy.

The young forward recently completed a transfer from Brazilian Serie A outfit Palmeiras and was expected to light up the scene on his debut for Real Madrid.

However, to the surprise of many, the highly anticipated forward delivered a largely underwhelming performance on the night.
In the aftermath of the fixture, Coach Ancelotti addressed the young forward's performance, urging calm following his lacklustre display. The Italian manager also subtly advised fans to temper their expectations for both Endrick and marquee forward Kylian Mbappé.
Ancelotti sends subtle Endrick and Mbappe warning
Speaking in the aftermath of his side’s defeat, the 65-year-old, as captured by Tribuna.com, stated:
“Our goal until August 7 is to ensure that the players who have started are in the best possible physical condition,” Ancelotti said.
“At the moment, we’re focusing tactical work mainly on the young players. Once everyone returns, we’ll integrate everyone into the plan. There isn’t much to change, as the team is largely the same as last year.
“The strategies are clear, and we will gradually adapt to the new ones.
“It’s not feasible to adapt Mbappé or Endrick in just five days,” Ancelotti added.
According to data courtesy of FotMob, Real Madrid have the opportunity to secure their first pre-season victory in their upcoming clash against rivals Barcelona, on August 4th.
Kylian Mbappe receives new vehicle

The French forward chose a car similar to that of club president, Florentino Pérez. The French national team captain, currently on holiday in the United States, is enjoying a break following his unveiling with the La Liga powerhouse.
