Chelsea battled to a hard-fought 2-1 win over Newcastle United on Sunday evening, snapping their winless run of two games in the Premier League.
Nicolas Jackson continued with his fine form in front of goal, scoring his sixth goal of the season after some wonderful work by Cole Palmer.

The Blues were, however, pegged back by Alexander Isak's finish from close range in the 32nd minute.
After the break, Palmer showcased another moment of brilliance, beating Nick Pope at his near post to restore Chelsea's lead.
As the clock wound down, both sides experienced nervous moments. Substitute Christopher Nkunku was brought down in the area, and referee Simon Hooper awarded a penalty.
Why Chelsea were denied penalty vs Newcastle
Nkunku cut inside Dan Burn, whose arm seemingly made contact with the Frenchman. VAR Jarred Gillet beckoned Hooper over, and after a pitchside review, the decision was overturned.
The Premier League has since explained why the penalty decision was rescinded.
"The referee awarded a penalty to Chelsea for a foul by Burn on Nkunku. The VAR deemed that no foul was committed and recommended an on-field review. The referee overturned the original decision, and the play restarted with a drop ball," they said via their X account.
The win is Enzo Maresca's first over a team that finished in the top eight last season. It takes them to 17 points on the Premier League table. They have a rematch against the same side in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
