Xabi Alonso has reached a major milestone at Real Madrid after guiding the team through his first six La Liga matches of the season, delivering victories that have set him apart in the club’s history.
When the former midfield maestro arrived at Los Blancos to replace the departed Carlo Ancelotti, he carried with him the respect of fans and players alike but also the aura of a man who had just turned Bayer Leverkusen into one of Europe’s most exciting teams.

Few, however, could have predicted just how flawless his early days in charge of Spain's most successful football club would be.
From his very first two games on the touchline against Osasuna and Real Oviedo, there was a sense that something special was unfolding.
The team displayed discipline, sharpness, and attacking flair in equal measure, quickly settling into a rhythm that reflected Alonso’s clear tactical identity.

Xabi Alonso makes Real Madrid history
That momentum has now translated into history. By guiding Real Madrid to six consecutive victories at the start of his LaLiga reign, Alonso became the first manager ever to achieve such a feat at the club, as referenced by StatMuse.
The run began on August 19, when Real Madrid narrowly edged Osasuna 1–0 at the Santiago Bernabéu, showing resilience in a tightly contested opener. According to La Liga, Kylian Mbappe scored the only goal via a 51st-minute penalty.
Just days later, Madrid travelled to Oviedo, where they produced a commanding 3–0 victory, signalling their attacking potential under Alonso’s leadership.
Their hot form continued to build on August 30, with a hard-fought 2–1 win over Mallorca at home. Madrid then carried that form into September, overcoming Real Sociedad 2–1 away in San Sebastián on the 13th.
A week later, they showcased defensive solidity while dispatching Espanyol 2–0 in front of their home fans.

Finally, on Monday, September 23, Alonso’s men produced their most dominant display yet, dismantling Levante 4–1 away to seal six straight wins and write a new chapter in the club’s storied history.

According to Flashscore, Vinicius Jr put Real Madrid ahead in 28 minutes, Franci Mastantuono increased the tally ten minutes later, before Kylian Mbappe racked up a brace, with Etta Eyong scoring a consolation goal for the home side.
Six straight league victories underline Alonso's tactical acumen and also place him in the record books of Real Madrid’s rich history.
While tougher battles lie ahead in LaLiga and Champions League, this milestone signals the beginning of a new era under a manager who already looks destined to leave a lasting legacy at the club he once graced as a player.
