Fire outbreak occurs in Accra (Photos, Video)

YEN.com.gh is in possession of a video and photos of a fire outbreak at Kokomlemle, near City Lights in Accra.

The incident occurred in the afternoon of Thursday, December 13, 2018

Eyewitnesses and Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) personnel who were present at the scene could not readily confirm what may have started the fire.

An eyewitness who described himself as James, and works close to where the fire broke, said a family lived in a wooden kiosk on the storey building but were not around at the time of the fire.

The timely intervention by personnel of the fire service has prevented any fatalities from resulting from the fire outbreak.

Those who witnessed the start of the fire lauded them for their prompt response in getting to the scene and bringing the fire under control.
