Bishop Obinim denies being a magician

- Bishop Daniel Obinim has stated that he is not a magician

- According to him, he performs miracles in order to help people get their heart desires

- The bishop added that magicians are simply entertainers, who do not provide solutions

The founder and general overseer of the International God’s Way church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has responded to rumours that he is a magician.

Speaking on Obinim TV, he explained that he is not a magician, but works miracles for people who come to him.

He added that people pay him visits in order to obtain various desires of their hearts, such as money and marriage.

In his opinion, magic is a form of entertainment that creates humour but doesn’t solve problems.

He went on to say that magicians merely entertain people, but his miracles have far reaching effects, as they solve problems.

Bishop Obinim again revealed that most magicians he knows are Caucasians, and that over 90% of them are light-skinned.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported of statements attributed to the man of God in which he sought to exhibit his 'powers.'

He is reported to have referred to himself as Ghana's spiritual father and received his appointment from Jesus Christ.

He is also known to have attempted flights to heaven, and at a point in time allegedly endorsed fraud, popularly known as 'Sakawa.'
