Jafaro Mohammed, commonly known as Addi Self, a member of the Shatta Movement (SM) seems not to be happy about Stonebwoy’s ambassadorial deal with Samsung.
One of Shatta Wale’s SM militants, Addi Self, has reacted to Stonebwoy’s contract as ambassador with Samsung.
In a screenshot making rounds on social media, Addi Self scoffed at Stonebwoy’s new assignment, an indication that he was not happy about it.
Commenting on the report that the Baafira hitmaker had been given that contract, Addi Self simply wrote: “Mtcheww”.
In Ghana, “mtcheww” is an expression used to show disgust or disaffection for something.
Some others who also commented on that report and saw Addi Self’s comments were of the view that he was simply envious of Stonebwoy.
Onell, for instance, wrote that Addi Self was pained over Stonebwoy’s new deal.
He wrote: “Edey pain you”
Juliet Tetteh also advised him to stop being childish:
“Stop this childish act, I know you dey respect”
Louisa also advised Addi Self not to envy Stonebwoy because his deal would move Ghana forward:
“Is Stonebwoy your enemy? We are all trying to move Ghana forward”.
Addi Self, who has proven to be loyal to Shatta Wale, was reacting to earlier reports by YEN.com.gh that Stonebwoy had successfully signed a deal with Samsung.
Though the exact amount has not been disclosed yet, it is believed to be a multi-million dollar deal.
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy has also been in the news recently following the naming ceremony held for his son.
He earlier gave the name of the boy as L Jenam Satekla Jnr, and later explained the meaning of the name.
The musician also disclosed that his son, the second born, came as a surprise.
