Kalybos sings Joyce Blessing's I Swerve You after near-fatal accident

- Kalybos has spoken for the first time after surviving an accident

- The actor sang joyfully to thank for saving his life

- Kalybos got involved in an accident while travelling to Kumasi on May Day

Ghanaian actor Kalybos has taken to social media to thank God after a serious accident which nearly claimed his life.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Kalybos got involved in the near-fatal accident on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

YEN.com.gh understands the popular comic actor was on his way to Kumasi for when the accident happened.

A video from the accident scene which was earlier published by YEN.com.gh showed the severity of the accident.

The video has Kalybos' car which was imported into Ghana just a couple of weeks ago severely damaged and it was only a miracle that he escaped unhurt.

Thankful for God's mercies, Kalybos decided to borrow the words gospel singer Joyce Blessing in her I Swerve You hit song to show is gratitude.

In a post on Instagram moments after the news of his accident went viral, Kalybos wrote: "I want to borrow the song of Joyce Blessing (I Swerve it). God is the giver of LIFE, no weapon plot against the child of God shall ever prosper or see another attempt. To God be the Glory."

Kalybos who has grown to become one of the most popular actors in Ghana celebrated his birthday on April 27, 2019.
