Shatta Wale mocks Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, others over 2019 BET snub

- Shatta Wale has reacted to the 2019 BET nominations list which had no Ghanaian artiste

- Shatta disclosed that he wanted to concentrate on local awards

Dancehall star Shatta Wale has reacted to the the 2019 BET nominations with a rather funny disposition.

As earlier reported, BET Networks, organisers of the coveted BET Award, have released the full list of nominees for the 2019 edition of the awards.

Interestingly, no Ghanaian artiste received a nomination in the categories they were eligible for just like it happened in 2018.

Shatta Wale who claimed to have received an e-mail from BET in December 2018 had been expected to get his first ever nomination.

But it was not to be for him as Nigerians dominated the nomination (from the African perspective).

According to the list released by BET Networks, the nominees for the Best International Act are AKA (South Africa ), Aya Nakamura (France), Burna Boy (Nigeria), Dave (U.K.), Dosseh (France), Giggs (U.K.), and Mr Eazi (Nigeria).

Reacting to the announcement, Shatta Wale decided to mock other artistes saying he is interested in local awards.

While Shatta Wale did not mention names in his post, it is no secret that Stonebwoy prides himself as an international artiste and the subtle jab was for him.
