Born as Nana Ekua Amoah, Mzbel is a Ghanaian Hip-life artist with a heart for entertainment. She is one of Ghana’s most popular musicians. She has mastered the secret of being relevant and sustained it throughout her career. Her music is mostly controversial. Rarely do her fans lack a topic to discuss as far as she is concerned.
In pursuit of relevance, how far left is one supposed to go to keep her name on the news headlines? Mzbel seems to know the answer to this question just too well. In Restoration with Stacy, the avid singer declared that she does not believe in Jesus Christ – the man who claims to be the founder of Christianity.
She said that there is a high likelihood that the story might be a fabrication to give the founder of Christianity some level of legitimacy. And if you think you have heard enough of her, then you need to rethink your position and read the subsequent paragraphs to be blown away.

She schooled at God Wisdom Preparatory schools, then later, for her Junior High School Education, she joined Korle Gonno 1 and Owusu Mills' JHS respectively.
Her teenage years were not any different from her adult life as we know it. She admitted that she bleached her skin while she was a teenager because that was the trend in Jamestown.
The hiplife artist joined Abuakwa State College for her secondary education where she took General Arts and doubled down in Geography, Economics and French. After her secondary education, Nana enrolled to Ghana Institute of Languages, after a successful application, where she was equipped with the skills of bilingual secretary.
However, while pursuing her course, she came to learn of an opportunity – a one-year training program in Television Production – offered by the Manifold Tutorial College and she grabbed it. In this course, Mzbel trained in Public Relations, TV & Radio Production.
Mzbel was born a day after Christmas, December 26th, 1979 to be precise. She was born in Accra, Ghana. She, however, brought up in James Town and Mallam.
Little information is known about her children. However, she posts pictures of a little boy who is believed to be the son on Instagram.

The true identity of the father of her son, Aaron, sent the internet into a guessing competition. To date, little is known about the father of his son. This has left much room for speculation. Big names in the entertainment circle have come up with theories explaining why she has not revealed the name of the father.
Socrate Sarfo was of the opinion that the man who sired the child was too ashamed of Mzbel and possibly, the son, to come out into the open and claim responsibility. All this came up during an interview Mzbel had on Peace FM with Sarfo.
In her defence, she said that the father to her son wanted his identity concealed.
Music was not her priority in life. As a kid, she wanted to be in the media industry but not as a musician. However, she has sung her way to stardom and earned heavy paychecks. Thanks to Hush Hush studios who first saw value in her music, Mzbel has risen confidently to become one of Ghana’s top music brands today. Here are some of her sons that you will love:

The wholesome entertainer has a past, one which most would not speak about too proudly. It is not that she did something bad, instead, something bad was done to her.
At the prime of her music career, Mzbel released hit after hit, which gave her absolute control of the female rap space. Some would argue that her provocative music videos helped establish her brand in the market.
While on a show in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), she was reportedly sexually assaulted by a group of students who loved her so much. The boys were so much infatuated with her, thanks to her stage acts, that they decided to do the heinous act.
Recently, the Hiplife artist gave her side of the story on the ten-year-old matter. She said that she was not assaulted sexually. She said that the boys liked her performance so much that they wanted more from her.
She was, however, too tired to proceed with the show. That is when the boys took her clothes apart while pulling her into the crowd with their fingers dipped into the honey jar. She was stricken by the incident so much that he passed out.
Castro came to her rescue and carried her to her room. He later explained to her what had happened.
She is the kind of person that is not sure whether what was reported at the time was true or not because she was unconscious throughout.
Mzbel is a brilliant artist whose fame and great music precede her. She has entertained fans through her music and chances are that she will continue doing so. Despite her life challenges, she remains to be one of the best musicians in Ghana.
