- The nominees for the 2020 3Music Awards has been released
- Musicians with the most nominations are Sarkodie, Wendy Shay, Shatta Wale, and Mr. Eazi
- 2019’s edition was successful with Shatta Wale winning more awards and the ultimate Artiste of the Year
- This generated controversy as Stonebwoy and his then manager Blakk Cedi, were not happy with the way things went

The nominees for the 2020 3Music Awards have been released by 3 Media Network, the organizers.
This year’s edition appears to be very competitive as many Ghanaian musicians have had nominations.
Those with the many are Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Wendy Shay, Mr. Eazi, Kwesi Arthur, and many others.

Meanwhile, last year’s edition of the award sparked many controversies, especially when Shatta Wale won the majority of the award.
Stonebwoy and his then manager, Blakk Cedi, called the awards a sham for that reason.
Unfortunately, Stonebwoy sacked Blakk Cedi, soon after Cedi had beaten Shatta Wale for him at the 2019 Ghana Music Awards.
It is hoped that this year’s 3Music Awards would be without any controversies.
