Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Stonebwoy, has revealed he took part in a Dancehall competition sometime in 2009/2010 and won.
For his prize, Stonebwoy was awarded a motorbike, which he is so proud of.
Shatta Wale was also part of that competition but Stonewboy became the winner in the end.
Some of his fans have commented on the photo and are full of praises for the Olumade hit maker.
Ike, for instance, called him godfather of Dancehall:
Kwesi wrote in the local dialect that Stonebwoy has been great since the beginning:
Young and Niel also praised Stonebwoy:
Desmond also praised Stonebwoy:
Others, though, were of the view that Stonebwoy shared the photo to mock Shatta Wale, who was once his fiercest rival:
Stonebwoy has carved a niche for himself in the music industry and is undoubtedly one of Ghana’s finest music exports.
He has had collaborations with popular international musicians including Beenie Man on Sugar and Keri Hilson on his Anloga Junction Album, just to mention a few.
He and Shatta Wale had often battled about who is fit to be called Ghana’s Dancehall king.
However, they reunited and have put all differences behind them.
Shatta Wale’s mother has revealed the two are actually cousins because she is related to Stonebwoy’s mother.
Little wonder people have said L. Janam Satekla, Stonebwoy's son, looks like Uncle Shatta Wale.
