Making the headlines in the past few days was Nigerian businessman, Femi Otedola and his three daughters.
The Otedola name coupled with his two daughters Cuppy and Temi, have become a household names even in Ghana all because of the wealth their father possesses.
It is interesting to know that the children of these filthy rich people became celebrities overnight because of the businesses their family posses.
It is common to hear people wanting to be affiliated to names like Dangote, Otedola and even Despite, Nduom and a few others here in Ghana
Their hedge fund and rich parent's compatriots have made their wealth and name on their own or with the help of a non-family member.
YEN.com.gh has decided to take a look at the sons of some of the filthy-rich business men in Ghana.

1. Kennedy Osei son of Osei Kwame Despite
Kennedy Osei is the eldest child of Dr. Osei Kwame Despite. Even though the business magnate has other sons, as the eldest son of and CEO of the Despite Group of Companies, he has been an outstanding director of the team and his professionalism and admirable personal qualities in handling the businesses under one of the biggest conglomerates in Ghana is impressive and undoubted.
He is one of the youngest CEOs managing conglomerates.
Aside running the Despite Group of Companies, Ken has been in the real estate business for almost a decade, masterminding the building of lots of properties and renting some within the Greater Accra and Ashanti Region.
2. Kwaku Bediako
Kwaku Bediako is the Founder and Group Executive Chairman of the CH Group of Companies.
With over 25 years’ experience in International Business, he leads the Group with the objective of ensuring the overall success of its diverse subsidiaries and growing the Group’s portfolio.
Driven by his passion for identifying and developing cross-sector opportunities, Kwaku established Chase Petroleum, a market-leading Oil Trading and Bulk Distributor in 1997.
Through his entrepreneurial vision, Chase Petroleum gained steady market prominence and was first to be issued with a Bulk Distributor’s License.
He is also the Founder of Goldkey Properties and Blackwell Properties, two of the leading property developers with luxury apartments and townhouses in three prime areas of Accra which includes Airport, Cantonments, and Roman Ridge.
3. Nana Kweku, Chiefy, and Edjah Nduom sons of Papa Kwesi Nduom
Nana Kweku, Chiefy and Edjah Nduom, are the sons of Ghanaian entrepreneur and politician, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom.
With over 60 businesses from banking to media to real estate, insurance, and mining. Dr. Nduom's sons cannot be left out of our list.
Nana Kweku Nduom and Chiefy Nduom are both Vice Presidents of Groupe Nduom, and they oversee their family’s investment in Illinois Service Federal Savings & Loan Association in Chicago.
Dr. Edjah Nduom on the other hand, is a neurosurgeon in the United States of America, who happens to be the first black to chair of the Young Neurosurgeons Committee of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
4. Ernest Taricone son of Ernesto Taricone
Ernest is the son of Ernesto Taricone, Executive Chairman and CEO of Trasacco Group. He is one of the three children raised by his dad. His other siblings Cinzia, and Agata are all actively involved in the daily growth of Trasacco Group. Ernesto Taricone was born in Italy but came to Ghana in 1968 with his father and two brothers during his teens.
5. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Jnr son of Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka
He is the son of preacher, inventor, innovator, Physicist, Chemist, Biologist, agriculturalist, philanthropist and the Star of Africa, Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka
Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Jnr is one of the known children of Kantanka Senior and the one in charge of Kantanka motors
He is in charge of his father’s establishments and even became a millionaire at his age.
6. Kenneth Agyapong
Kenneth Agyapong is the son of NPP’s Kennedy Agyapong.
It is believed he is already a millionaire despite his ‘young’ age.
Kenneth works at his father’s Kencity Media and he holds an envious position in the media establishment.

In other news, Osei Kwame Despite's first son, Kennedy Asante Osei, and his wife, Tracy, are going stronger with their marriage.
Not only are the two building a family together as husband and wife, but they are also building a business together as well.
In their latest move, Tracy Osei (nee Ameyaw) has set up a new clothing line dubbed KENCY by AVO.
