Multiple American award-winning singer, songwriter and producer, Stevie Wonder, has announced his big decision to relocate to Ghana permanently.
As myjoyonline.com reports, the Los Angeles resident made this announcement during an interview with Oprah Winfrey on her show “The Oprah Conversation” on Apple TV+.
Steve Wonder indicated that his love for Ghana grew from his many visits in the past and how loving the country and its natives proved themselves to be.
He also mentioned that unlike the United States, Ghana is a place where his descendants will not have to fight to be respected because of the colour of their skin.
According to the 22 Grammy award-winning musician, the only moment he is waiting for in order to make the big move is to watch his home country produce another smile.
“…I want to see this nation (America) smile again. And I want to see it before I leave to travel to move to Ghana, because I’m going to do that”.
In another report, a Ghanaian couple who were husband and wife in a stage play in 1995 while in primary two have now become a real married couple after nearly 26 years.
In a post that was sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Twitter handle of @CwekuNii, a picture from 1995 was shared alongside a photo that was taken just recently.
According to the husband, the lady named Ama has been his best friend from the moment they acted the play together and now they are set to spend the rest of their lives together.
