By disseminating facts, human stories and solutions, the Compact is a powerful driver for advocacy, action and accountability on the Sustainable Development Goals.

YEN.com.gh will now play a bigger role in advancing the UN’s SDG agenda through coverage of SDG-related issues.

This is a special privilege that the UN extends to leading media organisations around the world to partake in the collective responsibility of making the world a safer and better place as envisioned in the SDG agenda.

Even before joining the UN’s SDG Media Compact, YEN.com.gh was already contributing towards the SDGs through consistent coverage of life-changing human-interest stories that have positively impacted lives of many to date.

Through this new partnership, YEN.com.gh will now play an even bigger role in advancing the UN’s SDG agenda by reporting on SDG-related issues such as eradication of poverty and hunger, access to quality education and gender equality.
