Arguably one of Ghana's revered rappers, Okyeame Kwame, has certainly passed on the rap genes to his son, Sir Kwame Bota.
The 11-year-old boy has swept Ghanaians off their feet with a video of him rapping like a skilled rapper.
He was rapping a song by Nerdout Music and indicated in the caption of the post that his daddy was not aware he could rap like that.
From his body language and gestures, nobody needs a soothsayer to tell him that Sir Kwame Bota would be a greater rapper than his father is.
Ghanaians have reacted to the video and are full of admiration for the smart boy.
Abochi, for instance, called him Ghana’s first astronaut rapper:
abochimusic: “Damn Sir . Now we know you're the first first Ghanaian astronaut rapper . Killed it!!! @sirkwamebota.”
Joris wrote in the Akan language that literally means “the crab does not give birth to a bird”. An adage that means one gives birth to its kind:
joris_obengdarko: “Ɔkɔtɔ nwo anomaa.”
Ebony wrote that the guy is good:
ebony_oiza: “This guy is goooooddd.”
Abena screamed: “talent”:
Filla commented that no kid can ever challenge Sir Kwame Bota:
roxky_filla: “Wow brutality rap no I don't think any kid can challenge this rapper.”
More praises came for him:
cavieanvel: “Beyond epic!!!! You destroyed that!!!.”
