Meet 42-year-old Ghanaian dad of 6 who sells chips to take care of his family

Kofi Boahen, a Ghanaian father of six has narrated that he is able to take care of his family with his menial business of frying and selling local chips named "atsomor".

In an interview with GBC sighted by YEN.com.gh, the 42-year-old indicated that he started the business with no capital but by learning from his wife and raising some funds from other menial jobs.

According to Kofi, he decided to go into the pastries business after he returned from Cote D'Ivoire during a war in 2002 and settled in a single room with his pregnant wife.

The father of six further indicates that he has been making the chips himself sometimes with the help of his children or wife but goes out to sell them by himself.

Kofi Boahen said he has been able to take care of his family with the meagre income made through the business and has bought a plot of land for himself as well.

The 42-year-old is planning to expand his business, brand it properly, and sell it across the major supermarkets all around the country.

However, the gentleman who was seen at Palladium in Accra teaching the boy has clearly suggested that the notion is probably false for the most part.
