The students at the Bonya Presby Basic School in the New Juaben South Municipal of Koforidua in the Eastern Region were excited with the teacher's provisions for them.

In photos sighted by YEN.com.gh, they were seen displaying the fresh items received from their teacher in a brief gathering graced by other tutors in the school

When asked why she chose to embark on the exercise, Gloria Lardi Adakurugu said:

I taught for five years in the KG department and I was during all these things, buying uniforms, stationeries and schoolbags because most of the parents were finding it difficult to provide these basic things for the kids. Which makes the kids unhappy anytime they come to school. I thought it wise to be their second parent anytime they are with me in the classroom.
