A Ghanaian police officer known by the name Ewurama Police has set up a ministry called Ewurama Police Ministry purposely to help people in need.

Information obtained by YEN.com.gh from the kindhearted officer indicates that she started the movement since the pandemic started in 2020 and has been at it till now.

In some of the photos sighted, Ewurama could be seen with huge donations of provisions to orphanages who were extremely excited by the gesture.

The report is exciting not just because children in need are receiving help from a philanthropist, but also that this aid is coming from a police officer.

Incidents of bribery and corruption in the service have been heard countless times but stories of the likes of Ewurama are giving hope to Ghanaians and giving a facelift to the police force as an entity.

According to Ewurama, a donation exercise is coming up once again by her self-founded organization in early April 2021.

She encourages everyone willing to assist her on the visit to Kressner Handmaid Children's Home in Amasaman, Accra to donate or reach out via the numbers 0548817850 or 0244668676.

Meanwhile, Portia Afriyie, a 25-year-old Ghanaian female Mathematics teacher has developed a medical condition called Avascular Necrosis of the left hip and needs surgery.

A report by starrfm.com.gh indicates that the young lady needs GHc 32,000 for urgent surgery or risks getting paralyzed as a result of the condition.
