Gyakie's Forever Remix Places 3rd In Billboard's Top Triller Chart Behind Cardi B And Ahead Of Jennifer Lopez

Young Ghanaian singer Gyakie, known in private life as Jacqueline Acheampong, has been making giant strides in her relatively short music career.

In another impressive feat, Gyakie who happens to the daughter of Highlife legend Nana Acheampong has been featured on one of American magazine Billboard's charts.

Gyakie appeared on Billboard's Top Triller Global Chart with the remix of her Forever track for the week of April 10, 2021.

Gyakie's Forever Remix which features Nigerian artiste Omah Lay placed third on the list coming behind Cardi B's Up and KaMillion's Twerk4Me which placed second and first respectively.

Among the notable names Gyakie topped on the list was Jennifer Lopez whose In The Morning placed fifth.

While this is not the first time Gyakie has appeared on the chart, the third position this week happens to be her highest chart ever. It is more impressive considering that the song was at number 11 the previous week.

Reacting to the news, Gyakie has taken to social media to share photos of her achievement and show appreciation to her fans.

"Forever Remix #3 Billboard Top Triller Global Thank You @GyakieChans ," she wrote on her verified Instagram page.

Gyakie's Billbaord feat comes a week after she was spotted hanging out potted together with Ghana's own King Promise and Wizkid from Nigeria,

In a video, the three performed Gyakie's song Forever with great excitement and exuberance that has got a lot of people pouring out their reactions.

Earlier, a throwback photo of Gyakie showing her days as an SHS student in Kumasi had popped up on social media.

Just like the video with Wizkid, fans of the singer were impressed and left positive comments on the photo.
