Obinim has lost his father, funeral arrangements yet to be annouced

The biological father of televangelist, Daniel Obinim, has died in his home region of the Ashanti Region.

Kojo Bonsu, known best as Agya Bonsu, is reported to have died after a short illness.

Bishop Obinim father’s name first popped up in the media when outspoken NPP MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, revealed that his stepfather who sponsored his education in Germany, was a blood relations of Agya Bonsu.

Meanwhile, family of Obinim is yet to come out with a funeral plan for his father. Kojo Bonsu, popularly known in the Ashanti Region as Agya Bonsu, the biological father of Bishop Obinim died Friday 9 April 2021, in Bosome, a suburb of Kumasi, Yen.com.gh has learnt.

The Somanya Police is investigating a mysterious death of a 25-year-old lady found dead in a guest house.

It all happened when the Director of guest house, David Teye Annor, was visiting the room – which was booked by one Charles Tetteh - was it was time for them to check out. Upon opening the door, there lay the lifeless body of the lady in a pool of blood.

He said the handbag of the deceased was found on a chair and when it was searched an Identity card bearing the name, Believe Sakitey, 25.

The Director of guest house, David Teye Annor, thus reported the matter to the Somanya Police. So far, Charles Tetteh is on the run as the body of the lady has been deposited at the Atua Government Hospital mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
