At just nine months, he got his first role on Bambino Mio, a 1994 Italian TV show that aired on Screen One. He portrayed the character Chico, the adopted son of Alice (played by Julie Walters).

After his debut, Scipio returned to acting again when he was eight years old, this time for a stage production. He was cast for a role on The King and I, a 2001 Roger and Hammerstein’s stage classic. In the play, which was presented at Landon Palladium, he portrayed the character of Prince Chulalongkorn and acted alongside British musical theatre actress Ellen Jill Paige.

Acting and school

In 2002, Scipio earned a role in the mini-series White Teeth, a Channel 4 adaptation of Zadie Smith's debut novel by the same name. On the show, he portrayed the characters of two twin brothers Magid and Millat.
