Recall a recent report where a young man whose kid photo became a meme spoke up and said he is the one? It seems that would not be the last of the story.
A Nigerian lady with the handle @Firdausi_Abubkr replied to the young man's tweet and said she is the one behind after he named the place the prize-giving event took place as Madonna.
What started out as a meme has now turned into an occasion where two schoolmates of many years ago reconnected with each other.
A photo of the girl receiving her gift at the same place soon emerged. This just goes to show how powerful the internet is.
A Twitter user @haroldwitres did a collage tweet of the development below:
Below are some of the reactions to the post:
@missRickchuria said:
"She's the new meme."
@uche_forbes said:
"A love story will make this perfect. But what really happened to the boy that day??"
@OloriOfOloris said:
"Beginning of a beautiful love story."
@Allacarte1 said:
"This is so nice and beautiful. Can we now join them in the holy matrimony?"
@__lindakris said:
"I had a feeling this was Madonna. I got a gift too. Good times."
Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that a young Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @Bookunming, who took to social media to search for a lady he met at LCC tree house, said he finally found her.
The young man shared photos of himself and the lady on Twitter after they reconnected. The duo were all smiles as they posed for the camera.
He captioned the photos:
"Y'all! See who I saw recently- @Fatima_Babie. And she still bakes cake and sells perfume. Kindly patronize her."
