A mother of a fresh university graduate has stirred emotions on social media after she lay down her cloth on the floor for her graduate son to walk over.
In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh on Instagram, the mother who was welcoming her graduate son back home after completing his studies was seen weeping joyfully.
The lady was seen in an overjoyed mood as she watched her son walking toward the house while fully dressed in his graduation gown.
The story had it that the mother who was not well to do, could not get a gift for her son so she decided to give him a very special treat.
To make her son feel special and appreciated, the mother, out of the joy of having a graduate in her home, decided to lay her own cloth on the ground for her son to walk over.
She wanted to do something to make the son know that she was indeed proud of him so in the absence of a gift, she lay her expensive cloth on the floor for him.
The video showed the mother running to go and embrace her son amid tears of joy as they both acknowledged how tough the journey had been.
Many social media users were left with a lot of emotions as the video spoke volumes about a mother's undying love for her child.

The former traditional priestess indicated that it was the second time she was visiting the Chief Imam as he once came to Sowutuom to organize a programme.
