During the same interview, he called on Ghanaians to make sure that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is the last old man to be president.

President Akufo-Addo celebrated his 77th birthday on March 29, 2021. He defeated a 62-year-old presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, in the 2020 general elections to secure a second term.

Akufo-Addo collected 51.302% of the votes cast against Mahama’s 47.359%. The votes difference between the two candidates stood at 517, 231, representing a four-percentage point, one of the highest since 1996.

“Ghana’s youth must understand and I’ve said it that after Nana Addo, the youth will not vote for any other old man again,” he stated on the show. The radio presenter further likened the current state of the country to a case of Ghanaians "becoming fools in our wisdomic house."
