A young man has got people talking on social media after lifting weight underwater and doing it so perfectly well.

In a video that was shared on Instagram by @junkinmedia, the man could be seen lying on his back while lifting heavy metals.

Sharing the video, @junkimedia wrote:

A man stood beside him as the weightlifter displayed his skills and lifted the weight five times before raising his head above the water.

Some Instagram users took to the comment section to commend the weightlifter with clapping emoji while @bardhi_rm said:

"Due to the water pressure, its easier to lift the thingy, but since he cant breathe, that is hard."

84-year-old woman lifts 88kg of weight

In other news, an 84-year-old woman identified as Carrie Reece has got people on social media talking after a video of her workout routine was shared on Instagram.

The woman could be seen in the inspiring video lifting weight of 195 lbs (88kg) at 5am. Carrie lifted the weight from the ground effortlessly and dropped it after two seconds.

Captioning the video, @oldskooliron wrote:

"Here she is again, even talking a little smack at 5am and 84yr Carrie Reece (powerlifting grandma) smoking 195lbs with plenty left in the tank."

Athlete drags truck

YEN.com.gh previously reported that a video of a weight-pulling athlete dragging a truck with ropes strapped around his body went viral on both Instagram and Tik Tok.

In the clip, many people surrounded the man as some brought out their phones to capture the moment.

After some seconds of a great attempt, the man exerted much energy as he slowly put the truck in motion.
